If you’re a real ARMY then the word “hiatus” is only scary because you know your schedule is going to be packed! Keeping up with the 7 members of BTS is hard enough when they’re all working together, but as they carry out their own individual schedules it’s only seven times harder to keep up - and that’s exactly why we’re going to wrap up everything the members have been up to since the start of “Chapter 2”.
BTS’s leader RM has been living up to his name, ‘Namjooning’ all over the world, starting with a trip to Europe to enjoy some modern fine art before heading back home to enjoy the local music scene.
As part of their time off each of the members have been sharing a personal vlog showing off how they’re spending their time, and in RM’s vlog fans were able to follow the star as he toured a number of galleries and museums in Switzerland. It’s a well known fact the star has an affinity with the fine arts, so it was incredibly enjoyable for fans to be able to go along with him and see things from his perspective.

Upon returning to Korea, RM was eager to appreciate a different kind of art as he uploaded a picture of himself enjoying the performances of his fellow artists at Incheon’s Pentaport Rock Festival; even taking a picture with a number of the acts after the show.
Fans have been eager to see Jin on the big screen ever since the group announced their solo activities, as the star originally intended to be an actor before becoming a singer. So you can imagine the excitement that erupted when the usually introverted star started showing up on the red carpets of various movie premieres alongside an array of popular actors.

However fans would be equally surprised when only days later Jin uploaded a picture of his employee ID card at the popular game company NEXON, owners of the game ‘Maple Story’ that Jin is known to be a long time fan of. Fans were left even more bewildered when days later a photo of the star’s ‘job application’ was uploaded along with a promotional video showing Jin turning up for his first day at work - it seems he’s going to earn back all the money NEXON took from him as game cash!
Living up to his reputation as the most elusive member of BTS, while the others have been travelling across the world and finding employment, SUGA has been keeping a low profile with only a few appearances here and there. One of the appearances he’s made was his surprise appearance at PSY’s concert where unsuspecting fans got to see him perform their collaborative hit ‘That That’ live!
But one thing that hasn’t been making an appearance is his friendship tattoo; all the members of BTS have shared the locations of their tattoos - all except SUGA that is. What’s more, fans went wild with speculations when SUGA shared photos of him on a family trip in Daegu where he visited all his old schools, as the star was donning some shorts that showed off his long slender legs with not a drop of ink in sight…

Considering we’ve already done two articles covering j-hope’s solo album ‘Jack In The Box’, I’m sure you’re well aware with how busy he’s been with performances, schedules and more over the past month or so, but he recently brought the promotions for his album to a very successful close with a couple of interviews.
However it seems there’s a running theme with all the interviews he’s had in Korea: fans have been quick to notice that every time the star gets interviewed by a female host they manage to lock him in a “prison of compliments”. This has been cathartic for fans both because we get to see how truly humble j-hope is an artist, but it’s also oddly satisfying to see him receiving all the love and praise he deserves, even if he gets a little shy in the process.

Maknae line member Jimin has definitely been having pure fun during his free time, being pretty much everywhere and anywhere. Never much of a fan of SNS, Jimin was laying low after j-hope’s listening party - only to suddenly pop up in Chicago and support his ex-roommate for his lollapalooza set!
After that Jimin seemed to disappear again, save his vlog where he made metal bracelets at one of Korea’s many trending jewellery workshops, but he soon made a reappearance following the release of BTS’ vocal line’s collab song with Benny Blanco and Snoop Dogg: ‘Bad Decisions’. Since the release of the whimsical (and highkey relatable) music video, there’s been a running joke that Benny Blanco and Jimin are one in the same! (Don’t ask, you just had to be there!)

After dazzling us with his sparkly black fit at the Paris showcase for popular Korean brand Celine, it seems V is out to steal our hearts as he transfers into the cutest baby bear in front of his close friends in the Wooga Squad. The group went on a 4 day 3 night vacation back in early 2022 during the Winter and recorded their time toegtehr for a special season of the reality show ‘In The SOOP’.

Though it’s been a long known fact that V has this special friendship group of older brother-like celebs called the ‘Wooga Squad’, for many ARMYs this is the first time seeing V in a group other than BTS. During the show V also got very raw with his emotions and was comforted by his friends, leaving many falling in love with their friendship even more.
Jungkook has clearly been busy living his best young, rich and talented life - starting of the “break” strong by featuring on Charlie Puth’s single ‘Left And Right’ on a mere whim, only for it to end up making his the Korean soloist with the most TikToks using their sound, with over 5.2 million videos featuring the song. It’s still early days for ‘Bad Decisions’ but there’s no doubt in our minds that this track is going to go on to set some impressive records of its own.
However it seems that in between making hits and going camping, the young star has also been preparing something special. Just this morning the first teasers for ‘Me, Myself and Jung Kook’ were released with hashtags indicating Jungkook had been revisiting his love for photography and editing. Official reports say Jungkook has been trying his hand at creative direction and the full pictorial photoshoot will be unveiled on September 1st, his birthday!

If you haven’t caught the fact that BTS is not going on a “hiatus” at this point, then honestly we’re not sure what more it’ll take to convince you. Alongside everything the individual members have been doing, they’ve also been busy as a group: getting sworn in as ambassadors for the 2030 Busan World Expo, modelling in Samsung’s latest Unpacked presentation just earlier this week, appearing on the next episode of HYBE’s reality survival show ‘&AUDITION - The Howling’ and most important of all, teasing the long awaited return of their personal variety show ‘Run BTS’ next week.
It’s clear BTS have every intention of remaining just as prolific in the entertainment scene as ever and if you haven’t been able to keep up with everything they’ve been doing then hopefully this article helped you get back up to speed.
