One kind of destination that should be on every K-Pop fan’s itinerary when travelling to South Korea is to visit some of the many famous cafes and restaurants owned by the families of popular K-Pop idols, or even the idols themselves. Cafe Monsant Aewol (Owned by G-Dragon)

Owned by K-Pop legend G-Dragon himself, Monsant sits along the beachside on Jeju island, one of the best holiday spots in South Korea. Not only did G-Dragon open the cafe himself, but he also played a personal role in the menu and interior design.
Kamong Cafe
Seoul, Seocho-gu, Seochodae-ro 42-gil 17

Kamong is a waffle speciality cafe owned by EXO Kai’s sister, being in the heart of Seoul, it shouldn’t be hard to stop by during your trip through the city.
Mouse Rabbit Coffee
Seoul, Gwangjin-gu, Neungdong-ro 11-gil 1

Probably one of the longest running and most successful idol cafes is Mouse Rabbit owned by Super Junior Yesung’s mother & brother. The cafe is close to a few universities and Yesung has been to visit the cafe many times, so it’s a much loved spot by fans.
MAGNATE
Busan, Nam-gu, Hinnam-ro 135

One of the newer entries on this list is MAGNATE, a modern cafe with a sophisticated interior owned by BTS Jimin’s father. The cafe is located in Busan, Jimin’s hometown, and there are items that belong to Jimin on display, so fans often go to see them up close.
Cafe Kyungja

Owned by GOT7 Jinyoung’s parents, Kyungja is a sleek and modern cafe with a minimalist concrete interior. You can tell just by looking at the pictures that this would be a great place to relax, and through the huge front window you also have a great view of the sky!
Cafe Yogur Bara

Cafe Yogur Bara (known also as just ‘Yogurbara’) is a Yogurt specialty dessert shop owned by GOT7 JB’s parents. Though the cafe is technically located in Ilsan which is outside Seoul, you can easily get to Ilsan using the Seoul metro or bus system, so definitely stop by!
Ossu Seiromushi
Seoul, Songpa-gu, Songpa 1-dong, Baekjegobun-ro 45-gil 30

As the name might suggest, Ossu Seiromushi is a high class Japanese cuisine restaurant in the expensive Songpa district of Seoul near Gangnam, co-owned by BTS Jin and his brother as they both share a love for cooking. If you feel like treating yourself to the lap of luxury while in Seoul, then you should definitely try it out.
