☆ Yoshi, a 4th generation Korean-Japanese, was born and raised in Japan and holds special permanent residency there. He attended a Korean school recognized by South Korea's Ministry of Education and, while growing up as a Korean in Japan, experienced identity confusion but found strength in music, eventually becoming proud of his bicultural identity. He joined YG Entertainment's Japanese branch in 2014 and trained for 7.5 years, splitting his time between Tokyo and Korea before debuting. Skilled in Taekwondo, Yoshi placed 3rd in a national competition representing Korea. Inspired by G-DRAGON, through his sister’s influence, he formed close relationships with fellow trainees, particularly Choi Hyun-seok, and drew inspiration from Kendrick Lamar during his training.

- Yoshi works best on beats. His beats were used in Treasure’s youtube content TreasureMAP. All of his raps in all Treasure songs are catchy and rhyming. He writes his own rap.

- there is a track titled “STUPID” in the album REBOOT which Yoshi was credited as the lyricist and composer for the very first time. It’s a song about a loved one and a boy who has regrets about that person. He blames himself and says, “I’m stupid” but the song is exciting so it’s both fun and sad at the same time. It’s both a fun and sad song.
- He learned taekwondo as a child and entered various taekwondo competitions, listing his nationality as Korean and using his Korean name, Kim Bang Jeon. In 2015 during his 3rd year of middle school, he placed 3rd in a taekwondo competition wearing a Korean flag on his sleeve.
- Yoshi contributed to both the lyrics and composition of "Stupid." As one of TREASURE's most gifted rappers and songwriters, his input brought depth and emotion to the track. Yoshi revealed that he started writing "Stupid" saying while being on tour, he thought it would be great if there is an exciting song & he wrote the song. It’s imagining about the love. The loved one went away and was stupid about it.
