Here is the first European K-POP girl group ‘KAACHI’!

KAACHI is European-London based K-POP girl group that consist of Korean and foregin members under the Frontrow global Records. KAACHI signifies Value & Togetherness. They released their song ‘EXTRA SPECIAL’ on 5th September that conveys the message of how special a person is regardless of their nation, background, race, gender, and appearance.

Recently, KAACHI has been selected ambassador of beauty llifestyle brand ‘Ugly chic’ that focuses on protection of environment and cultural diversity.

Your Turn

KAACHI first debuted in April 2020 with the song ‘Your Turn’. Initially, the group consisted of 4 members Nicole, Coco, Chunseo, and Dani. (Dani left the group). Nicole Harddisson Hernandez is a leader, main vocalist, and a main dancer of the group. She is Spanish. Coco(Do Yeonsu) is a lead vocalist and a lead rapper. She is a Korean. Chunseo(Ruth Guillem Gomez) is a main rapper, lead vocalist, lead dancer, and a visual center. Chunseo is a Spanish. KAACHI went viral for their music video hitting 10 million view in 60 days.

KAACHI members interviewed that they have been grown in the era of ‘SHINEE generation’. Chunseo said she was obsessed with K-POP ever since 2010. She was in love with K-POP by listening to Shinee and Bigbang songs. Nicole added “The synchronized performance idol groups put off, who can’t fall in love with such exceptional perfection of making 4 minutes performance to a masterpiece.” Nicole and Chunseo used to join K-POP dance cover team back in London.

KAACHI는 팝의 본고장 영국 런던의 프런트로우글로벌이 제작한 한국-외국인 구성의 K-POP 걸그룹이다. KAACHI의 뜻은 가치(Value), 같이(Togetherness)이다. 지난 9월 5일 신곡 'EXTRA SPECIAL'을 선보였으며 이 곡은 국적, 배경, 외모, 성별과 상관없이 너는 특별하다는 메시지를 담고 있다. 또한 KAACHI는 최근 뷰티 라이프스타일 브랜드 '어글리시크'의 앰버서더로 선정되어 국내외로 문화 다양성과 환경 보호에 관련된 활동을 펼치고 있다.

Your Turn

KAACHI는 2020년에 4월에 'Your Turn' 으로 데뷔했으며 데뷔 당시에는 니콜, 코코, 준서, 다미로 이루어진 4인조 걸그룹이었다. (현재 다미는 탈퇴함) 니콜(Nicole Harddisson Hernandez)은 리더, 메인 보컬, 메인 댄서 포지션이며 국적은 스페인이다. 코코(도연수)는 리드 보컬, 리드 래퍼이며 국적은 대한민국이다. 준서(Ruth Guillem Gomez)는 메인 래퍼, 리드 보컬, 리드 댄서, 비주얼 포지션이며 국적은 스페인이다. KAACHI의 데뷔곡 뮤직비디오가 60일 만에 조회 수 1000만을 돌파하여 당시에 화제가 되었다.

KAACHI 멤버들은 모두 한국 아이돌 그룹 샤이니를 보고 자란 ‘샤이니 세대’라고 한 인터뷰에서 밝혔으며 준서는 2010년 전후로 인기를 끈 아이돌 그룹 샤이니와 빅뱅의 노래를 들으며 K팝에 푹 빠졌다고 했다. 니콜은 “이른바 칼군무라 불리는 그룹 댄스, 4분짜리 무대를 하나의 예술로 만드는 K팝 그룹의 강렬한 퍼포먼스를 보고 사랑하지 않을 사람이 누가 있겠느냐"라고 거들었다. 니콜과 준서는 K팝을 동경하며 런던에서 한국 아이돌 커버 댄스팀으로 활동했었다.
