Today, we're thrilled to unveil some exciting new features with our recent major update🎉

We'll be diving into two key aspects:

1) Introduction to the Events Page and 2) How to Submit an Event!

1) Introduction to the Events Page

The Events tab on the Kooky app has been upgraded for your convenience.

You can now filter the map to see only events from your ‘My Artists’

and select specific event types to display only what you’re interested in.

The four icons on the right represent official events, kooky events, fan events, and ads, in that order. You can filter events based on the type you want to view.

Simply grant location access on your browser, and it'll help you find events near you!

(Don't worry, we don't collect data without your consent!)

You can move around the map to freely check events in other areas,

and also tap the blue location icon to return to your current location.

With the new ‘Search’ tab, you can easily look up your favorite artists and find related events. Discover what’s popular and what’s coming up—personalized based on your location, so you’ll always see events that matter to you!

When you access the event page, you can see how many chingoos are planning to join the event at the top. By clicking the orange bar, you can join the camp and connect with other chingoos who are interested in the event.

(+ chingoos is our adorable nickname for kooky users. 💖)

Check-in and Get Rewards

You can also earn 50 kooky by pressing the check-in button at the event location. The check-in button becomes active when you are within 10 meters, so join the event and enjoy it together!

✨ New: Collect Your Check-in Card!

When you successfully check in, you’ll now receive a Check-in Card in addition to the 50 Kooky bonus.

This card is stored in your Profile → Check-ins tab, where you can see the exact time you checked in and your unique check-in number.

Your Check-in Cards can be:

✔️ A personal archive of all the Kooky events you’ve attended

✔️ Used for participant order events (based on check-in number)

✔️ A collection of your favorite event moments

Past check-ins and “I wanna join” events you’ve participated in will also appear here — so you can revisit your Kooky journey anytime!

On the app, you can save your Check-in Card directly to your gallery.

Share it on X or Instagram to let friends and fellow fans know you were there!

If the popup keeps appearing, please check if you visited the event location on the correct date and are within 10 meters of the event map location. If the issue persists, even though everything seems fine, please tap the Having issues? button to report it.

Additionally, by going to the ‘Contents’ section in the artist’s community,

you can view all events related to your favorite artist in one place.

2) How to Submit an Event

Registering an event is incredibly simple!

1. Click the submit icon in the Events tab or submit link.

2. Please enter the exact date, time, and address of the event.

3. Please select the artist for the event and enter the event name.

Then, just select the country where the event will take place.

You can also select the event category and type.

First, choose a category—either “Label” or “Fan”—to indicate whether it’s an official event or a fan-hosted one. Based on the selected category, you’ll then be able to choose the appropriate event type.

Each event submission earns you 200 Kooky, while Photo Booth events give you 100 Kooky.

(Starting April 1, 2025, 50 Kooky will be awarded for each Photo Booth event submission.)

4. Please select a cover image and a body image for the event.

A concept poster works best for the cover, and an event guide poster is ideal for the body.

Also, include a link to the event organizer’s social media or event post.

This helps provide attendees with additional information.

With this information, you can submit your event!

Approval usually takes up to 3 days, so make sure to input accurate details.

Since you can submit up to 20 events per day, please be mindful with your submissions.
