SEVENTEEN’s Main Dancer #MichaelChanson

DINO is part of the SEVENTEEN performance team, along with being the sub-rapper, sub-vocalist, and main dancer. He participated in making choreos ever since he was a trainee. DINO was greatly inspired from a Michael Jackson video he saw when he was in 6th grade, and he has been working on achieving his dream of being a singer by setting Michael Jackson as his role model. He has a special ability to be able to turn female group dances into Michael Jackson style dances, which is where his nickname, Michael Chanson, was evolved from.

Dino says he doesn't want to limit himself to a position where he only dances or raps. He mentioned he has many things he wants to do, and recently he’s been practicing singing. As SEVENTEEN’s multiplayer, DINO is the future of K-pop.

DINO produced the choreography for SEVENTEEN’s ‘JAM JAM’, ‘Thumbs Up’, and ‘Flower’. He’s been revealing his own choreos through [DINO’S DANCEOLOGY]. You can see DINO’s personal creativity, which is hard to see during SEVENTEEN promotion events, can be seen on SEVENTEEN’s official Youtube channel.

🔥SEVENTEEN’s comeback in October🔥

DINO’s group, SEVENTEEN, will make a comeback this mid-October. This comeback is very noteworthy because it’s their first comeback after their contract renewal with PLEDIS Entertainment. Based on their strong teamwork, this comeback is expected to mark the start of their second act as setting themselves as a global K-pop group.

세븐틴 메인댄서 #마이클찬슨

디노는 세븐틴 퍼포먼스팀에 속해 있으며 포지션은 서브래퍼, 서브보컬, 메인댄서이다. 연습생 때부터 호시와 함께 안무 제작에 참여하고 있다. 디노는 초등학교 6학년 때 우연히 마이클 잭슨의 영상을 보고 강한 감명을 받게 되었고 롤모델로 삼아 가수의 꿈을 키우기 시작했으며 각종 걸그룹들의 안무를 마이클 잭슨 스타일로 바꾸는 게 특기라 '마이클찬슨'이라는 별명이 붙여졌다.

#케이팝의미래

디노는 본인을 춤이나 랩만 하는 포지션으로 국한시키고 싶진 않다고 한다. 하고 싶은 게 워낙 많기도 하고 가장 도전해보고 싶은 분야는 '노래'여서 노래 연습도 많이 하고 있다고 한다. 세븐틴의 멀티플레이어, 디노가 곧 케이팝의 미래다.
